Itinerary
Egitours Egyptologist guide will pick you up from Luxor hotel/Airport. Then; Start Luxor Tour by transferring you to the west bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery for the new pharaonic kingdom, there are many kings buried in this valley. The most visited tombs are, King Ramses III, King Ramses IX, King Mrenptah and Tut-Ankh-Amon (Extra ticket). Move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1500-1480 B.C), the only woman who reigned ancient Egypt. You will stop by the colossi of Memnon which remain from the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Continue driving to the east bank of Luxor to enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, before moving to visit Karnak Temples, the largest structure of worship in history, dedicated to the cult of Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. End your tour by visiting the Temple Of Luxor which was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty and was completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. Later you will be driven back to your hotel in Luxor.
